About Phonix
A studio that gets out of your way.
We're building a recording space for independent artists, producers and podcasters who are ready to step up their game.
The Problem
Most studios fall into two camps: budget rooms where you're on your own, or premium spaces with waitlists, minimums, and price tags that don't make sense until you've already made it. If you're an independent artist in West London, the options get even thinner.
What We're Doing
Phonix is a fully equipped, acoustically treated recording space with one difference: you decide how you use it. Book an hour or become a member. Work with an engineer or bring your own. Rent the gear you need and nothing else.
Three Rooms. One Roof.
Each space is designed for different work — so you only pay for what you actually need.
Studio 1: Main Studio
Control room + live floor
Full recording setup with a separate live room for bands, vocalists, or anything that needs space to breathe. This is the flagship.
Studio 2: Control Room & Vocal Booth
Acoustically isolated
A dedicated control room with a connected vocal booth. Whether you're tracking vocals or doing voiceover work, you've got a proper setup without paying for space you don't need.
Studio 3: Production Room
Writing + production suite
Our most compact space. Built for producers, writers, and anyone who needs a focused room for the work that doesn't need a live floor/vocal booth.
How We Work
Open Access
You don't need to apply, or know someone. If you want to book, you book.
Built Around You
Hourly, daily, or monthly. With an engineer or without. The studio fits around your project, not the other way around.
A Place to Belong
Events, collaborations, people who get it. Phonix is a studio, but it's also a room full of people doing the same thing you are.
